“Life is greener where you water it. We often focus on what other people are doing and wishing we had the same thing. If we just focus on our own journey, then our grass would be just as green” - @kelseymato 🌿
This one doubled up on her @studiothreechi yoga yesterday - AM at the new LP location and PM at River North.
Sprinkling more on this LIGHT in the sprinkle letter tomorrow!

“IF YOU CAN’T FLY, THEN RUN,
IF YOU CAN’T RUN, THEN WALK.
IF YOU CAN’T WALK, THEN CRAWL.
— BUT WHATEVER YOU DO,
YOU HAVE TO KEEP MOVING FORWARD.”
—Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
I admire King’s altruism. Back in high school we once talked about the stages of moral development. Theologian Lawrence #Kohlberg found that Martin Luther King has achieved the highest stage of human #moraldevelopment. From our childhood to adolescence our moral understanding goes along various stages: At the beginning as children, we mostly do stuff for our own’s sake, like rewards or to avoid punishment. I call it the Ego stage but there’s a fancier term.
The final stage which some of us reach is a Universal one: we do stuff because it’s the right thing to do, for justice, freedom or equality. It’s a stage, a state of mind beyond boxes, boundaries or law. Martin Luther King did it for his dream’s sake, knowing this would better the world. He dreamed big, he dreamed for everyone. That’s why he impresses me: he’s the dreamer who woke up the world. And it’s only the first step, the beginning of the stairs of a dark stairwell.
What does his #dream mean to you?
