Majority of us have or are still struggling with acne and sometimes we feel it’s just because of puberty though that may be true there are some other things that we may be doing that are contributing to it;
-sleeping with the same pillowcase for long periods of time. You need to change your pillow cases at most every 1/2 weeks
-not drinking enough water. It’s a must to keep your skin healthy from the inside out, drinking water will flush out toxins from your body that contribute to acne prone skin.
-not cleansing your face before you go to bed especially for girls with oily skin. You HAVE to wash your face to get rid of the dirt and excess oils that build up during the day.
-not moisturizing your face. When you don’t moisturize your face after washing it, your skin starts to produce excess oils to make up for what you didn’t do and excess oil production is a huge cause of acne.
-not removing your makeup with a good make up remover wipe or oil such as coconut oil can lead to more acne.
-eating a lot of unhealthy food and these contain a lot of fats and oil and taking this in excess causes acne. Don’t worry we are all guilty of this one just try to reduce the amount of oily food you take and make sure you’re drinking enough water. In the words of a wise man ‘drink water and prosper’✨.
-stress is also a cause of acne so once you notice those stress pimples try to relax and unwind or just drop what’s ever giving you stress and later you can go back to it and use a different method to approach the situation.

Tip: incorporating scalp massages into your hair regimen is extremely beneficial as it stimulates the hair follicles which promotes hair growth plus it feels soooooo good. You could even go further to use a scalp massaging brush and apply essential oils like peppermint oil, lavender oil, rosemary oil or you could just use a good ol’ faithful like olive oil or coconut oil.
Just simply apply the oil to your scalp and massage for about 5-6mins that will get those follicles stimulated

consistency is keyy!
All of us want our hair to be waist length, puffs to look huge and skin baby soft and glowing all the time. There really is no problem to want that for yourself it’s actually really great but the problem is HOW to achieve that. You can’t get amazing hair or skin without working towards it unless you’re blessed in the gene department. Unfortunately that isn’t the case for everyone so you need to be CONSISTENT. You won’t have see improvement in any situation if you aren’t continuously working on it. This is where having a regimen comes in. Having a routine or regimen for your hair/skin is extremely beneficial. So make sure you’re consistent with your hair and skin routines/regimens and you will definitely notice improvements.
