My trainer, @risepaofit, taught me an important lesson today. If you’re anything like me, when you commit to something, you commit 110%. Nothing can ever get in your way, no matter what. And that’s what these last few months have been like when it comes to my fitness journey. I’ve been working out nonstop, doing 2 a days. Just really pushing my body to its limits. But, not giving your body rest is extremely dangerous. Your body won’t get where you want to take it if you burn yourself out. Instead, you could wind up seriously injured. So, as hard as it is when you want something SO bad, don’t forget to take a rest day. Your body will thank you. And it won’t gain back what you lost overnight. (Or vice versa.)
