UPDATE on our Missions Trip:
I met Miguel 2 years ago at an orphanage in Tijuana, Mexico. He was broken and traumatized because he saw his dad beat his mom to death with a hammer. After a lot of prayer and help from our Missionaries (Art & Joyce Stoneking) I am proud to say that Miguel is still working out some issues but he is doing 100% better than the last time we saw him. Help me pray for Miguel from time to time if you remember. God has a big future and great plans for him. #missions#thereishope#ewcpeople
1 CORINTHIANS 9:16 says, “FOR WHEN I PREACH THE GOSPEL, I CANNOT BOAST, SINCE I AM COMPELLED TO PREACH. WOE TO ME IF I DO NOT PREACH THE GOSPEL.” The penalty for not sharing the gospel is woe, intense sorrow, shame, calamity, unanswered prayers, loss and waste of ripened harvest (souls of men), and continuous persecution of the church and God's people... Ever wondering what is happening to the church today!
The North East of Nigeria which is today ravaged by Muslims Fundamentalist was once open and friendly but the church (You and I) did not take the advantage of it to impact the region sufficiently with the gospel.
We had the wrong impression that the door will remain open for ever. To access very good portion of the territory now is like the head of the camel going through the eyes of the needle.
Same is the situation in many of our neighbourhoods, communities, towns and villages today. We have denied them access to the gospel by refusing to witness Christ to them, and they have in turn became a terror to us. What a pity!
Please join me and other believers this evening by 8pm prompt as I will be sharing on the topic "Soul winning: The Danger of Doing Nothing"

God bless you as you do so. Amen.
This is John! He doesn't have an IG, but he does have a nice smile at least haha. We climbed this route called "To Bobby" rated 6B+french grade (5.11+ ish.) I'm completely underneath him right now, and his journey takes him out on an almost straight horizontal overhang for another 25 ft or so. So much fun! The place we're staying at right now is called Green Climbers Home in Thakek, Laos; and it's soooo cool. We have dormrooms/bungalows/tents surrounding a dining room where we get our deliciously spicy meals made for us every day. Other than that, we have hundreds and hundreds of routes all around us, and dozens of other climbers to talk to about Jesus! :D So that's it for my update, thanks for supporting me financially and in prayer! It means a lot. "La Gon!"

Mis chapines!! 😍😍 Okay, so technically only Ethan is Guatemalan, since he was born here. We moved here when Riley was 8 weeks old, so she knows no other home. Her Spanish isn’t quite as good as that of her friends, but her English isn’t quite as good as those her age either. Things like mailboxes and air conditioning are unfamiliar, yet she is still awaiting the time of year when it will snow here. 😬🤫 Riley has been begging to dress like the girls she sees in town and in our local market, and is so proud to finally have her own “Guatemala princess dress.” They may not be pure Guatemalan, but they aren’t purely North American either. And in that, there’s beauty. ❤️🇬🇹🇺🇸💙
I’m so thankful he still loves the “magic” of Christmas. All 3 kids still love finding the elf every morning, they can’t wait for Santa to come soon and fill their stockings but ultimately they know Jesus is the reason for the season. They know His birth was good news of great joy and He was the One “who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross.” Praying your CHRISTmas season is a blessed one too! #lifeoverseas#missions#velvetashesca#familyfun#makingmemories

B R A Z I L 🇧🇷/ / In just three short days my team and I will be stepping into this lovely country for the next two months. I’m so excited to see and love this nation through the eyes of the Father. We know the Lord has great things in store for Brazil and we can’t wait to help be apart of expanding the Kingdom of God.
Templeton and the team were led to the village by local pastor, Pastor Rizera. They had made the long trip for a very special reason. Pastor Rizera had been working to minister to this Himba village, visiting and delivering Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes to the children, but he ran into an obstacle in the course of his ministry. For the Himba tribe, and many other people groups around the world, the Bible had never been translated into their heart language, Himba. He painstakingly began to translate the Bible into Himba so they could understand. It was on this trip that Pastor Rizera and the rest of the team brought the village the very first scriptures in the Himba language. And they were delivered on a MegaVoice solar-powered audio Bible. If you haven't read about our amazing ministry partners reaching the Himba people, check out the link in our bio.
Fair warning, you might want to become a hippie in Thailand after watching this video, I know I’m tempted. Check out my latest blog and video about the Shekina Garden in Pai, Thailand. Link in bio 💛
My husband gave me this book for my birthday and I loved it. Each chapter covered 10 different missionaries. It was amazing reading about their obedience, love for the Lord, and heart for the lost. I had never read about most of them but was definitely inspired and came away wanting to know more about them. Rather than being mini biographies, each chapter used the life of a missionary to teach a Biblical lesson. I will definitely read more on a few (like Lottie Moon, she was so hard core!). #missionary#missions#books#missionaries#world#book#Christian#God 🌏

4-year-old Marco, the son of two Ecuadorian fishermen, survived a terrible explosion that took both his hands. The experience not only disabled him, but traumatized him as well.
But at Awana, he is learning to trade hardship for joy, beginning to heal and even thrive. Marco enjoys the games and lessons at club, and because of the encouragement he receives from his leaders, he excels at school where he has become one of the best students.
Made it to Peru ya’ll! 🇵🇪🙌🏼
Thank you for all your prayers! Can’t believe it’s already month 3!? Excited to see what the Lord has for us in the Amazon!
