Kyoto is so breathtaking 😍🌿🌳
The Kyoto Botanical gardens are a magical place to visit all year, but spring is clearly the best time as you can also go to view beautiful Cherry Blossoms freshly bloomed 🌸

Travel Tip #8: Side by side seats in parasailing are more fun than tandem seats. 💺
Follow me for more travel tips on a budget!
If you’ve never parasailed before, what are you waiting for?
It may appear high in the sky but it’s not scary at all. In fact, the first time I parasailed, I was surprised it’s as calm as it is. And it was extremely quiet, very peaceful time with spectacular views of the ocean. Even saw a turtle swimming! 🐢
If you want, you can ask to be dunked into the ocean before they reel you in. Lots of fun, just make sure the water isn’t too cold. They dunked us to our waist which was a fun way to end the adventure. 🌊
If there’s more than 1 parasailing company in the area, and you’re going with 2 or 3 people, I recommend selecting a company that have side by side seats instead of tandem seats for 2 reasons: 1.) Much more confortable 2.) Better view without having someone in front of you.
Note: Bring a waterproof camera or waterproof case/bag to take a birds’ eye view while in the sky.
Enjoy your time in the sky! 🦅
Happy travels! 🙃

Northern Michigan is one of my favorite places to escape to (especially since it’s only a road trip away). Whether it’s spending time in downtown Petoskey, exploring Mackinac Island, hiking the shoreline of Pictured Rocks or finding waterfalls in Marquette- I love it all. I’m someone that tries to see as much as I can in the time that I have- which means I’m going, going, going... and I never really stop unless it’s time to go home. My next MI adventure I want to do is take a trip to Isle Royale National Park- I’ve always wanted to discover the beauty of the way upper peninsula plus see a moose or two. So I plan to make a trip up there this upcoming summer. Michigan has so many beautiful places to see, why not see them all? ✋🏼
