Remember when you were a kid and walking on curbs, walls, and parking blocks were daily occurrences? Also, remember when you were a kid and didn’t experience knee or back pain? As adults a majority of our movements are forward motion on stable surfaces. We work only a few big muscles, forgetting about all the little stabilizer muscles that are strengthened through the same motions we see in kids play!! Start to move more like a kid and I can bet you’ll start to feel stronger!

What is Life and How do we Live it?
There are two imperatives in life – to deal with situations as they come and to create one’s future.
Each day of our life we are faced with various situations.
They may be pleasant, unpleasant, unexpected, horrifying, wonderful, boring, testing, painful and so on. We have no choice but to face them.
The important thing is ‘how’ do we respond to life’s challenges? With what attitude? Do they overwhelm and overpower us? Do we get bowled over or do we hit a sixer? Do we stumble, grumble and crumble or bounce back and march ahead?
A man won twenty five lakh rupees in a lottery. He feared his wife would faint on hearing such unbelievable news. His friend volunteered to tell her. He said, “If you win a lottery of 25 lakhs what will you do?” She said, “I will give you half the money.” The friend fainted! .
We must learn
how to breeze through the situations of life with a smile.

As I sit on the shore, I’m reminded this was only meant to be a place for rest. I can’t stay here. I could. In fact, it would be a lot more calm and safe her. But deep joy awaits in the unknown. There are things that I can only experience when I take the risk. Things that are only a mystery from the view on the shore. Only an idea. Only a view. ⠀
This life with Jesus is a wild and crazy adventure. It looks a lot more like a title wave crashing over us than a long romantic walk on the beach. It looks like throwing off our comfort, our ideas of what we thought our life should look like, our plans, and running straight into the places that scare us. ⠀
Obedience is the love language of God and it requires our immediate “yes.” It’s more like a dive than a tip-toe kind of thing. It’s a “I don’t care if I’m fully clothed and look like a fool I’m jumping in.” ⠀
Sometimes God will call us to do things that people won’t understand. That feel a little crazy. But the joy is found in the mystery. Life with Jesus is the greatest adventure I’ve ever known and it’s one that only gets better and better. It’s one worth the risk.

People may wonder why would I or could I be so into self development, Energy Medicine, chakras, meditation, mindfulness, soulful living and healing trauma and be selling arbonne?!?! I get it! Minimalism or OCD?
Is it strange that throwing out things and seeing a clear space gives me the same high and feeling of satisfaction as drinking or binge eating something naughty? I have to restrain myself from tidying my loved ones houses or to wanting to organise someone’s desk at a store. While it’s not the worst addiction to have it is important to be aware of it, especially as I tend to want to throw everything out when I’m stressed (which goes to show how stressed I am right now because I want everything GONE) 😂 / / In other news, thank-you @katie.lash.brow for my new lashes. 💥DAILY FASTING 💥
Time restricted eating is a concept I’ve been interested in for a while now. I’ve certainly felt the benefits both cognitively and physically! Here’s a summary of what I’ve discovered via research 👇🏻
The concept of time restricted eating coincides with the body’s circadian rhythms. The absence of a fasted period (>12 hours) leads to an elevated fed state physiology; disturbing normal counter-regulatory metabolic states.
💥So, what are the benefits of fasting?💥
Fat loss is enhanced due to the mobilisation and use of stored fatty acids and sugars as fuel.
Insulin sensitivity is improved, allowing the body to effectively use glucose as fuel.
Increased levels of growth hormone which prevents the loss of lean muscle. A common concern is that fasting will lead to muscle loss, in fact the last thing the body wants is to loose muscle! It will burn glycogen and fat first.
The fasting process activates survival genes which trigger pathways involved in antioxidant activity, protecting cells from potential damage.
Inflammation is reduced due to the body’s waste disposal system (Autophagy). This process removes pro-inflammatory debris from the body.
Improved cardiovascular health due to cholesterol recycling. When fasted, excess cholesterol is broken down into bile acids.

Fasting is super effective! It’s likely you’ll find normal foods taste more vibrant as well as being more satiated after meals. This is due to receptors responsible for hyper-palatable foods (i.e. refined foods) being reset! It is important to remember that fasting should be preformed for longevity, and not for the sole purpose of weight loss.
Personally, I’ve found that I am more energetic, I can concentrate for longer as well as think clearly. The biggest benefit I’ve noticed is reduced inflammation, I’ve noticed a dramatic decrease in morning soreness; especially after a hard training the previous day!
Do exactly that. It’ll show God and the universe that you are ready for this to flow into your reality. It’ll allow your subconscious to guide you to it. If you’re not doing what you would be to prepare for it if you KNEW it were coming true, then that just shows you don’t believe it will - and so it won’t. Approach life as you would if all you wanted was on its way, because it is, if you just allow it!

Yesterday marked exactly four years since I was checked into inpatient eating disorder treatment for the second time. Four years ago I wrote these words in my journal. Four years ago i didn’t think i’d live to see this day. Four years have gone by and I can honestly say I am the happiest, healthiest I have ever been. I DID get my life back. I’m not here to say “look at what I’ve been through” I’m here to say - I got through it, AND YOU CAN TOO. .
I promise you - whatever it is, whatever darkness you’re going through, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. you have a purpose. you have meaning. and you will find it✨
