Well, I did it!
LIIFT4 is done 💪🏻
It took me 10 weeks and 2 days to finish an 8 week program. 🤦🏼♀️
I’m sharing that to show you that it doesn’t matter if you don’t finish on time, it only matters that you don’t quit on yourself! .
I will be taking measurement and sharing my results later this week, but I’m a little nervous since I didn’t stick to my nutrition.
But... the transformation will continue as I commit to finishing this year STRONG!

Thought about just not posting today because honestly nothing about that workout felt good - my body feels off, my head wasn’t in it, and I really didn’t even finish. And as easy as it would be to be ashamed and hide that - it’s real life! This is how it goes sometimes, and feeling bad is just a lie that could keep me from encouraging someone else. Workouts don’t always feel good, it’s not always easy, and I’m not always proud. And that’s OKAY. Looking forward to my #recoveryday tomorrow and then getting back to my #liift4life after that.

I seriously could have made every excuse not to work out today. I was so tired I fell asleep at my desk after school and barely felt like a human. But I drank my pre-workout (bless that magic) and did 400 reps of straight bicep and back work.
I feel SO much better after a good sweat session (even though I'm sure I'll barely be able to lift a pencil tomorrow 😂). Do something good for yourself today!

It's been a hot minute since I've been able to commit to a program because of some hip issues. While I'm still dealing with my hip, I'm DONE making excuses. I made it through half of this 8 week program this summer and quit when I felt defeated by my hip. How easy it is to let life be run by excuses.... but today I decided I cannot let my excuses win anymore. .
I NEED to get back to my groove. I NEED to get back to where I was a year ago. When I actually FELT amazing- inside and out. Back to when I made ME a priority. If I have learned one thing, it's that when you stay consistent, things no longer feel like a chore. .
So for the next 8 weeks.....
I'm going to commit to throwing excuses away.

I'm going to commit to 4 days of exercises.

I love shoulder days for a different reason than I do for leg day. We all know my legs are the strongest part of my body but my shoulders aren’t so much. I love watching every week go up in weight on shoulder day because I have wanted to get my shoulders stronger for a couple reasons. A) when I tore my rotator cuff. B) helps in karate.
Weight lifting doesn’t make women bulky. I have know idea where this idea comes from. It burns calories in a short amount of time. We don’t need cardio ladies. If you’re wanting to lose weight. Lift. I am not saying don’t do cardio. If that’s you’re jam and you love to run and stuff...by all means go for it...but don’t get it in you’re head you can’t lift either. Before you believe this myth-do you’re research. Also, please don’t go by what social media says. Go by people who actually know what they are doing and have studied it and have shown you the science behind it💋💪🏻
Needed something quick and effective this morning! NO PROBLEM! B4 Liift to the rescue! 20 minutes of heart pumping no nonsense work did the job! Could have skipped this morning but instead used the flexibility and the “relax” attitude @joelfreemanfitness has instilled in us to just find a way to make it work for me! If only the rest of my day went that way!
So proud of this guy! Rob started off planning to do a 21 day program with me to provide moral support when I wanted to lose some baby weight. Two years in and he is still making amazing progress!

I’m Falling back into fitness. 🏋️♂️ I’m so excited to be back. Our new workout program Liift4 comes out October 1, and I am starting a new Challenge group for this amazing program. It’s 8 weeks, a half hour a day, only 4 days a week of lifting and high intensity interval training with an easy to follow meal plan(with a cheat day built in).😆 You can easily lose up to 10-20 pounds by Dec. 1. I had the pleasure of doing these workouts for the past few months, I didn’t follow exactly as I have been training for half marathons(and got lazy), but I did notice change in my arm muscles quickly. I admit, I fell off the damn wagon, but I’m ready more than ever to come back. I lost focus of my why for a bit. Life has thrown some punches, but I’m fighting back and my children deserve the happiest and healthiest version of me. I’m ready to build these baby muscles back up too! 😜💪🏽

6 months into this coaching journey, and I continue to learn more and more about myself each and every day. Learning that it’s okay to not be PERFECT. It’s okay to have FLAWS. It’s okay to be VULNERABLE. It’s okay to have GOALS and DREAMS even if they seem so far out of reach. It’s okay to ask for HELP.
Learning that imperfections are what make me, are what make us, IMPERFECTLY PERFECT!
Coaching has not only given me an avenue to continue to help those around me strive to be better, but it has made me better in the process!
So I continue to share these changes in me and invite people to join me on this journey because I want the same thing for you! As the lovely @msrachelhollis says, “You are made for more”. Don’t ever forget that!

Today is the official start to a new me!! I’ve been up and down trying to find a program that is best for ME and I’ve decided to start AND stick with #liift4 I have some amazing friends who are doing it with me and holding me accountable and I am so excited for this journey. Today was Day 1 of B4 LIIFT4 and we killed it! Can’t wait for tomorrow!!🤩

My story isn't anything special. I'm just a mom that was tired of being unhealthy. I was ashamed of how out of control my health was, terrified of change, but determined to be better for my family. It wasn't always easy but it was worth it. If I would've given up on one of the hard days, I wouldn't be at my goal today. I lost 70 lbs and took control of my life. I'm no where near perfect but I'm so proud of the results I've had on my journey. There have been struggles and I have stumbled. I'm human and I fail often. I've had doubts if I would reach my goals in the past. I occasionally still doubt if I can always maintain my results. But one thing I haven't done is given up. .
Failure makes you HUMAN. Be stubborn about your goals and flexible about your methods! Try new things, you will eventually find what works for you! 💕 For me, as a busy wife and work at home mom of two.... home wellness programs works best for me 🙂

I’m fairly certain exercise is going to always be one of those things are only enjoy AFTER it’s done. Especially cardio! I don’t love the act of exercise but I love what it does for me! It makes me better so I’m going to continue to show up and have a daily meeting with my personal trainer in this office every single day! As always.... here is your open invitation to join me!
