Happy birthday/heavenly day to very handsome Charles Korvin (November 21, 1907 — June 18, 1998) was a film, television and stage actor. He was also a professional still and motion picture photographer and a master chef. The Hungarian actor (born Géza Korvin Kárpáthy) moved to Paris around 1930. He studied at the Sorbonne and during his ten years living in France, he was hired by Yvon, the famous French postcard company, shooting on location all over the country. In 1937, he was hired for a CBC documentary film project about the renowned Canadian medical doctor, Norman Bethune. Entitled “Heart of Spain”, Korvin photographed and co-directed the anti-Franco film which was shot on the front lines during the Spanish Civil War. Moving to the United States in 1940, Korvin studied acting and stagecraft at the Barter Theater in Abingdon, Virgina. As Géza Korvin, he made his Broadway stage debut in 1943, playing a Russian nobleman in the play, “Dark Eyes”. After signing a movie contract with Universal Pictures, he changed his stage name to Charles Korvin. #charleskorvin#iloveclassicmovies#classicmoviestar#leadingman#oldhollywoodglamour#hollywood#goldenageofhollywood#actor#classicmoviefan#tcm

Black and Whites always seem to tell a story. I especially love them because every person can have their own vision or idea of what that story may be. It may just be a box of stogies, but when I looked through my 50, I see loneliness, I see struggle, I see determination.
@manrags got me through this 4 hour hike to witness this perfect view of LA. How spectacular are all those colours 🧦🧦

✨I was sitting at an open house yesterday and in between showings I found myself thinking about what I have to be grateful for...luck and hard work play a part but what about the little things every day I take for granted; my health, 2 amazing sons, food, shelter, being able to live and work in such a beautiful place... 🔸so I’m starting off this Thanksgiving week being grateful for all things big and small ♥️ ⚡️@speaklife_310 loved your live feed this morning on giving back, always the most positive person I know, congrats on the launch of your site www.speaklifeworld.com ⚡️
