“Of all the paths you take in life, make sure a few of them are dirt.”
Dying to get out for my next adventure! So thankful to call the PNW home. I mean look at this view! We are just surrounded by so much natural beauty here and it feels good to escape the city and unplug for a while 🙌🏾
How did we come up with the name Wild Blue?? We’ve been asked this several times, and to be honest that’s a good question.
In 2016, we started to brainstorm new business names. As we were at the drawing board, we were reminded of our family anthem. It’s a song called “The Great Adventure” by @stevencurtischapman. Anybody remember this 90’s classic?? We always play this song as we begin a new adventure. There’s a lyric in there that goes like this:
♪ Saddle up your horses
♪ We've got a trail to blaze
♪ Through the wild blue yonder of God's amazing grace
And then it hit us. That’s how we wanted to steer our family, our business, and our life - into the Wild Blue yonder. We hope to regularly stretch our comfort zones, produce unique work, explore wild places together, and help others do the same. So we filed our new name with the state. Our decision was quickly affirmed when we tuned into church shortly after and learned they were beginning a series called “Into the Wild Blue Yonder”. The rest is history. 💯 #nowyouknow

I left home at sunset and then everything went really fast and all the fog came in. ☁️

Black sand beaches + rocks that look like rhinos + rainy skies
I lost any hopes for a good sunset in Glenorchy, but my gut told me to go for a little drive. I am so glad I listened. It may have lasted just a couple of minutes, but the sky went on fire and a combination of crazy clouds and a fog building up over the lake created quite a unique sight.
Shame I cannot fit the foreground in! Thanks @instagram for the cropping.
P.s. As my friend @piteshmistry said to me yesterday: “Always trust your gut! Unless you have diarrhoea”
I’m starting to get restless between my adventures. Dreams of summer road trip, mountains, flowers and wildlife fill my head and intermingle with the idea of going international on some big trips. Trying to decide where to go first is so difficult! -

This picture was taken during a road trip with Keenan a while ago. We went from Washington to Montana then up through the amazing landscapes of Banff to Jasper before looping back around and down to Bellingham. After, I took of solo headed to Arizona.
Side note: a month long road trip in a Kia Rio isn’t so easy and requires staying very organized with your gear.

KNEE SURGERY DAY! I bet you’re all as sick of hearing about my knees as I am talking about them 😂 I know it doesn’t seem like a big deal to most but I’ve been waiting 18 years for this surgery. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t super anxious today as being a very active person, the down time will be tough. But hopefully after it all I will come back better and stronger! I’ve been amazed by the amount of love and support from everyone and just wanted to say a huge thank you! I appreciate all your sweet messages, comments, thoughtful gestures and good vibes you’ve been sending. It honestly means the world and I really appreciate it! I’ll be laying pretty low for the next while as I focus on recovery but don’t worry I’ll be back on the mountain tops in no time! Photo Credit to my lovely friend 📸 @brookewillson •

Accurate representation of how I feel walking out of my ochem final 🥳 So summer is coming up in a week for me (I’m going to Australia on Christmas!) Where can I buy swimsuits during winter? 🤨🆘
I didn’t make it out to a hot spring last weekend, but I have plans to head down to one I’ve never been to Saturday morning! I might have to wake up at 5am (literally, someone help me) but it’s going to be so worth it! Since I’m so stoked, here’s a flick from a hot spring in California from over the summer 🔥 #tbt
