Let's tackle the holidays together!!
In the meantime check out this amazing testimonial.... WHO CAN'T RESONATE WITH THIS I ASK YOU?!
Client testimonial: "I started FWTFL in June of 2018. I had 3 babies in 4 years and while I bounced back relatively easily from the first two, the third was a different story. My babiest baby had turned 1 in April, and I was still 10 pounds heavier than “normal.” More than that, my body was changing. My previously taken for granted muscle tone and strength was disappearing. I found I could no longer do things I used to do. I was struggling with my energy level – really struggling. As in, coffee all day, everyday to just survive to the kid’s bedtime. As in, I really need to take a shower but that feels like too much work, tired. My sleep, when it was gifted to me by the tiny humans that live in my home, was fitful and disrupted.
I knew I had to make a change, and I signed up for my first round of the FASTer Way to Fat Loss. I dedicated myself to simply not quitting, to doing what I could when I could. I lived the mantra of progress over perfection. I focused on whole food nutrition, sleep, and water. Somedays I missed workouts and somedays I’d phone them in, but I made an effort. A few weeks in, we took our measurements and I’d lost 10 inches! I threw caution to the wind and dug out a pair of shorts that haven’t fit since 2014 and I got them on!
At the end of the 6 weeks, my body had changed (9lbs and 12.5 inches lost altogether), and I had more strength and muscle tone, but what was most life altering was this – I was happy.

This is what it’s about!
Huge blessing to see the veteran community coming together on our own.
With everything that we’ve been through.
All the loss.
And living with constant physical and mental reminders of the past.
When we come together change happens.
We’re so used to doing so much with so little that when downrange it’s not about the things back home but the person to the left and right of you.
This has always been understood as an unwritten law surrounding our time in the service.
And it reflects when we collaborate together!
@madfitter and @lftvet are coming together in Corpus Christi to hopefully bring some @irreverent_warriors shenanigans to the Gulf Coast!
Get them silkies out of them seabags ladies and gets and peep our sweet painted nails and foot tats.

I’ve accomplished a lot of achievements in my life and I’ve learned a lot from all my mistakes as well. Sometimes those mistakes came from hasty decisions and sometimes they came from under-educated decisions. But, the common theme of most of my mistakes were that they were made because I took risks...
I’m a risk taker and while not all risks have a payoff in the end, some of them have benefited me in ways I couldn’t even begin to pay back. I risked leaving college to join the Marine Corps infantry. I risked leaving the Marine Corps to try out for Army Special Forces. And lastly, I risked leaving a successful career in Special Forces to pursue my dream of being an entrepreneur...
One thing I’ve learned over this last year is that the risks we take that don’t payoff doesn’t mean we made the wrong decision. It doesn’t mean we give up and go home. It certainly doesn’t mean that it’s the end. I’ve had my share of failures this year but none of them have stopped me from pushing forward and now, I’ve turned my failures into successes because I didn’t let them discourage me, change my mind or make me quit...
Nothing is outside your reach. You just need to ask yourself how badly do you really want it and what are you going to do exactly to achieve it. Even though my IG handle, 2alpha2quit may sound cheesy, the truth is it’s who I am and it’s who you are. Next time you get discouraged just remember, you’re fucking too #alpha to quit...
Get out there, we’ll take ya 🌎

Isn’t that the truth...all the ‘bad parts’ of your story are there for a reason. Every time you fall, stumble, bleed you’re being asked to grow, to get back up, to move...forward. So do it. Don’t play victim to any circumstance no matter how ‘unfair’ it seems. Life is unfair but you didn’t you know you born to rise above it 😉 Didn’t you know you were meant to tell your story to inspire others... No matter what storm you’ve been asked to walk through...the greater the obstacle the greater the strength you gain from it and the more wisdom you earn. Don’t wallow in pity. It won’t get you over that mountain. #strongwomen#getbackup#getafterit

Go hard or go home on a Friday morning at 6am! One circuit from my lift bright and early today. Some great total body exercises that keep the heart rate up but also help with strength and stability! Give it a try. 💪🏼
NOTE: Yes my butt doesn’t look good at the top of my deadlift! Why?! Because I actually squeeze the shit out of it! That’s what it means to finish the exercise. For those of you that see the accounts where a girls butt looks great all the time, the main reason is because they’re not getting full hip extension and completing the exercise. So sorry in advance for not having that “bubble butt” ... I’m more about the proper technique and movement pattern. 🤷🏻♀️
Deadlifts - 8
Single leg DL slams - 8 each leg
Renegade row with push-up - 10 (20 rows) *4 sets*

I thought I would edit @jockowillink watch as I see it everyday reminding me to get after it. I just finished Extreme Ownership and if you asked me, I think it would be a great idea to have classes in public schools based on that book and Discipline Equals Freedom. What a powerful thing it would be to raise a generation of disciplined young people who take ownership of their situations. I wish I had been exposed to that philosophy when I was younger. I would have wasted a lot less time in my life. Certainly would have procrastinated a lot less.
So we are at about the 6 week mark, still doing what I do- self care, chiro, physio, massage, and I tried hot yoga a couple times. The pain is still unpredictable. No improvement yet. I am a planner by nature, like I mentioned already, I DONT LIKE THIS ONE BIT! I am eating advil like candy. Taking lyrica- aka pre-gabalin..... ⚠️Warning in coming pharmacology lesson!! Lyrica is an anti-convulsant, it slows down impulses to the brain that causes seizures. It also works on the brain by decreasing the pain signals caused by damaged nerves. But it also makes my brain super foggy and I get real sleepy. I ended up just taking it a night, so I could get a solid few hours rest. Because enough rest = recovery and repair that your body magically does while you sleep. When I was able to get a solidish sleep, I had less pain the next day.... huh. Neat eh? Sleep really is important! Balance is also key.
I never thought my medication regimen would be this complex. So I started taking toradol (anti-inflammatory), you should not take this long term so I switched to a whack of advil daily. My stomach didn't really like it, so I was prescribed tecta (proton-pump inhibitor) it decreases the production of stomach acid. Cool. Then I did some research, my nutrition is great, I eat well and track my MACROS on and off. But it could be better.
Supplementation came up in my research. Now, I didn't believe in supplementation at this time. I believed that if you fueled you body with real whole foods, you shouldn't have an issue right? Well, its partially true. Most North Americans do not eat enough REAL whole foods, because the sugar and pre-packaged food industry has a hold on us for convenience and claims that it is nutritious. When you look at a label and cant pronounce half the ingredients and dont know what the other half are, think to yourself- should I really be eating this? Should I give this to my child/ren? Probably not.
