Not a good day which is why it has taken me until now to post. As we approach the end of the year the fairies in pixie hollow are feeling a little emotionally drained, low and noticing the emptiness in the house. Looking forward to getting away with my ladies. Time difference: 2015 to 2018. For months, I’ve been wanting to find my prom dress and see the difference in the way it fits! On the way into Knoxville I had the thought “wouldn’t it be so cool if I finally found my dress” a thought I quickly forgot about until I was rummaging through my grandparents closet and lo and behold in a pink dress carrier; my Peach sparkly David’s bridal dress that I’ve been searching for! It was like finding a diamond in a coal mine the way the Jewels sparkled on it! I remembered the day I got it it was so beautiful I want to say it was a size 20/22 a size I was not happy in but the way the dress felt I didn’t care much, besides I wore a size 18-20 in pants and I knew the dresses ran small. This was when I first started my fitness journey, the middle of my senior year of high school, and I honestly didn’t know what to expect trying it on now. •
Part of me was scared because I thought about how heart breaking it’d be if I were to try it on and it wasn’t falling off if it wasn’t a big difference, but I literally said fuck it and went for it besides I was in a size 10-8 now in pants so it’d be crazy for it to still fit the same. When I tried it on I didn’t even have to unzip the dress I just pulled it up over my body and then to my satisfaction It was like a curtain on me I couldn’t let go of the dress without exposing myself and I never felt happier. •
I’ve been on this fitness journey for YEARS and I’ve had ups, I’ve had downs, I’ve have time where I’m the same weight for weeks even though I’m eating right and working out everyday, but I STILL show up. I fight for what I want, because I know I’m strong enough to accomplish what I want in life. I know I sound like a broken record when I say PLEASE don’t stop following your dreams! It’ll be worth it in the end keep going! Keep fighting you are a warrior and you WILL get what you are fighting for as long as you stay consistent and positive and LOVE EVERY SINGLE STEP OF YOUR JOURNEY!! If I can do it I know damn well you can!! It’s all mind over matter people!!!
