When working with any young athlete nowadays I notice a tendency to force shots due to using their off-hand or starting too far away from the basket.
Using specific tools and drills I work with each athlete to build their strengths and overcome their weaknesses. •
It’s tedious, it’s repetitive, it’s physically and mentally challenging. However when you add up all the hours in the gym, knowledge accumulated through repeated failure and fighting through fatigue, the reward is so much more sweet. •
Being average scares me 🦁. Today I spent some time writing myself out a brand new training program and it all kicks off tomorrow. I am in a constant pursuit of bettering myself each and every day. Because there is not one single reason on earth why we shouldn’t be striving each day to be the best we can be. Who else is ready for a huge week ahead? #SQFITNESS#LetsWork

After being unable to squat for 4-5 months cause of my injury, SO happy to back in the 300 club 🙏🏻
I’ve been slowly making progress and getting my groove back, which required a lot of PATIENCE and FRUSTRATION (considering I’ve hit 315 for 2). When I started squatting again after that amount of time, 135 was heavy and just felt weird. Stayed consistent, stayed positive, and worked hard to get back to where I was. It only goes up from here ♥️

🥶I’ve taken quite the hiatus due to a knee injury (ACL and meniscus tears) been trying to find ways to work around it! And finally I’ve found that grove!! - never back down find ways to get back into it 🤙🏼
