Bandages off finally get to see my scar! Although it is an unfortunate place for a scar I am stoked they matched up the tattoo lines 😁 Surgeon wasn't super happy with how much rotation I have in my wrist but it's only been two weeks since the operation and I haven't been pushing it overly hard.
Ok, I’m still totally fried but here goes:
Yesterday was (from our point of view) a resounding success. The atmosphere all day was next level, and the racing was as fast, wild and tight as we’d hoped.
A huge thank you to everyone who participated to such a consistently high level; to the crowd for being so supportive of the competitors and for being so respectful to the site - damage and litter was at an all-time low for an event 👏🏻; to the marshals who kept things moving all day long; to the medics for all of their efforts in keeping you all in one piece and patching you up after your gymnastic efforts 🤕
Without The @b1kemtb Boss, Rich, and Neal from @tidworthb1kepark running the timing there would have been no race, but that doesn’t even begin to cover the work that went on behind the scenes from both of them.
The same must be said for the guys from the club who have worked on getting this #race going for almost the last year, and made sure the event ran smoothly all day.
Give ‘em a 🙌🏻 •
And let’s not forget the businesses who supported us with their presence and assistance on the day, and provided prizes for all of our podiums: @schwalbetyresuk , @dmrbikes , @tftuned , @theridersguild , @mbcyclery , @shredxs
We take pride in working with the most genuine people, who live and breathe riding the same way we do; all of you do yourselves proud by proving it 👏🏻👏🏻 •
@redbulluk brought the noise and absolutely raised the hype levels.
Once again it was great to see such a recognisable company paying it back to the #grassroots 👌🏻 •
And a last shout to the caterers for keeping our stomachs full and our whistles wetted from first-last. •
Thanks everyone, it was worth every minute of prep!
Now, on to the #HooperHoohah 🤙🏼

Recently I've been thinking about selling the Range and getting a dedicated park bike (for holidays) and a trail bike more suited to the trails around Sydney. The current front runner for park bike is the Commencal Clash (I'd consider a YT Capra if I could get one). Good idea or crazy?
