Not necessarily my dream car, but who wouldn't pass up an opportunity to shoot a Lambo?
I've never really dabbled into automotive photography, but now... I can slowly see how lucrative this can be. When it comes to this side of photography, one name instantly pops up in my head. Josh Brown (@joshuamichaelbrown). Car enthusiast is an understatement when it comes to this guy, and oh yeah, he sometimes take pictures of cars too...
The challenging part of "taking pics of cars" is not just only the angle of composition, but also the story-telling aspect of it. As you can see here, there's not really any narrative behind this pic, it was a more of a "Dddddddaaayyyuuummmmnnnnn, a Lamborghini???" *quickly grabs camera, squat awkwardly to get a different point of view while also subtlety panicking at the same time in fear of the owner catching me stealing angles* (which now after editing, you could make out the "RENT ME" sticker near the windshield, so clearly, it was parked there for glamour/advertisement purposes). //
Now thinking, "Sick! Got a pretty solid POV on this shot, got to rub it in Josh's face"...He quickly put me in my place, and kindly suggested that for these kind of cars, a higher angle would be more a suitable thing to achieve. I could not agree more, this shot lacked that wholesomeness in which a sport car is meticulously designed for. But hey, this is my first time, gotta start somewhere. Josh, I missed you man, we gotta catch up some time. Like always, Thank You for the tip, definitely something I will always keep in mind! -N^2
