Felt like this leg day #workout was about to take me out! Just ended an extended fast of 108 hours and started a new medicine...so the combination of all that has me feeling less than stellar. But I still got it done. Trying to pull it all together so I can cheer my baby on at his basketball games all weekend! Happy Saturday! #consistency#transformation#fitness

Strive to achieve consistency over the long term versus intensity in the short term.
Train for the long haul versus short term gainz (again with that 'z' - it's a millenial gym thang 🙇♂️)
As you look at your "big picture", the marathon event that we call "life", there will be periods of higher intensity that you must accept and be prepared for... but you cannot run the entire marathon distance at a sprinters speed.
Pace yourself. Know when to surge and know when hold back a little ... it's called a game plan - and yes we have to be prepared to be adaptable with that plan.
And the bottom line .. KEEP MOVING FORWARD!

Needed a switch from my normal program so I opted to do a HITT session for 25 minutes 😱
I’ve always been one to finish programs back to back with no missed days or I’d feel bad for switching to something else...but I am learning that I HAVE TO DO WHAT MAKES ME HAPPY! (I’m screaming it so that you also get the message). 🗣

Impeccable products hitting the gym floor Sunday at our first Holiday Market
🏋🏻♀️ Hard work pays off. 🏋🏻♀️ Just a few months ago I was fluffy 😂 and now I feel better than ever. A few months ago I was just like everyone else, didn’t know much about what I was eating or how much I was eating or what exercises to do for which muscles etc etc. No one is born knowing anything about Macros or health or workouts .. but if you WANT to change your lifestyle you CAN. You have to Apply yourself every day with the goal to be consistent with training, to resist the urge to binge on junk food, to eat right and to eat ENOUGH every single day (not eating does NOT equal gainz 🤷🏼♀️), and to better yourself physically and mentally. The fitness world has taught me that there won’t be maximum results if you don’t try or make any sacrifices..Specially when starting out at the gym I see many people be discouraged because they don’t know what they’re doing, or they’re lost -not seeing any results after the first week, and just give up. Results don’t come over night. The first week is tough for anyone.. me included when I started out. I didn’t go from Fluffy ➡️ Arigetsmuscles in 1 day. It took time for me to get into the pattern of going to the gym consistently and it even took time for me to stop eating junk food because that’s all I knew before! Everything takes time, but results ARE guaranteed if you invest time in yourself and don’t give up. Maybe you won’t see big changes the first week or even the next week. But believe me.. if you put your all into getting in shape you WILL get in shape. And then seeing your own transformation after a month or two will make all the hard work WORTH IT. Cleaning up the photos on my computer and found a new before...probably one of the few full body pictures ever taken of me! This is at 35 weeks pregnant with my girl..I went to 42 + 2 weeks and left the hospital at 385lbs 🙈. .
It has been quite the journey since then, but I wouldnt trade one minute of it. Every experience we go through, every struggle, every triumph in life, shapes us into the person we are today..and I'm pretty in love with who I've become (I mean that in the most modest way possible 😂).
Keep your head up and keep fighting for what you want, I know it is in you, you just have to believe it too 😘
