Wenn du erfolgreich in einem Bereich werden möchtest, dann solltest du dich mit Menschen umgeben, die genau dort erfolgreich sind.⠀
Möchtest du zum Beispiel in Form kommen und deine ganzen Freunde verbringen ihre komplette Freizeit mit saufen, feiern und Müll essen, so ist es sehr schwer, dass du erfolgreich in deinem Vorhaben wirst. ⠀
Umgibst du dich aber mit Menschen, die einen gesünderen Lebensstil haben, wird es dir einfacher fallen dein Ziel zu erreichen.⠀
Das ganze kann man in jedem Bereich des Lebens anwenden. So wie dein Umfeld lebt, wird auch dein Leben sein. ⠀
Deswegen wähle dein Umfeld sorgfältig aus. Auch wenn das bedeutet, dass du dich von manchen Menschen im Leben trennen musst. Jede Entscheidung ist eine Scheidung von etwas. ⠀

Smoothie bowls and sunshine on the daily up here ☀☀☉ Safe to say I'm pretty happy with my current situation 😊 nearly everything has just fallen into place, leaving me with no doubt in my mind that this was the right decision 🌼 I've shown myself already that I can be independent, confident, brave and uncomfortable, and I'm honestly really proud of myself for jumping into this so openly and positively and embracing each obstacle as it has comes with a smile on my face. I am so happy thinking about this and realising how much I have grown 🌷

Which do your prefer? Personally, I’m team glass all the way. Because reducing our use on plastic adds up PLUS I swear my food just tastes so much better after keeping it in glass over plastic!

1. Before you start meal prepping you NEED to invest in containers. Preferably glass or BPA-free plastic ones.
2. You can grab plastic containers in your grocery store. They’re cheap and safe, but don’t last as long compared to other ones.
3. But if you want to order containers online, check my bio link for my full post with recommendations and where to buy them
4. If plastic containers crack or break, throw them out. They’re no longer safe.
🌎No matter what you use, reusable meal prep containers helps reduce your waste A TON and that’s something I can always get behind.
Seared garlic ghee scallops and cheesy cauliflower mash - one of my favorite 20-minute dinners (I promise that’s all it takes!) made entirely from Trader Joe’s ingredients 🙌🏻 I went out for an impromptu #sushisunday dinner tonight (pics will be in my stories soon 📷🍣 ), so giving this plate another moment in the spotlight tonight 👋🏻🌟.
#whatsonmyplate: seared garlic ghee scallops (heat @fourthandheart garlic ghee in a pan for a minute, add sea salt-seasoned scallops and sear for 2-3 minutes per side) •• @traderjoes cauliflower mash (this can found in the freezer aisle at Trader Joe’s; prepared according to package directions + 2 tbsp. parmesan cheese stirred in halfway through cooking) •• sautéed garlicky spinach w/ parmesan cheese🍃•• pan-blistered tomatoes 🍅.
I asked this question in my stories today, but in case you missed it, here it is again: If you *had* to choose only one grocery store to shop at, which would it be? 🛒 (My answer: Whole Foods, but only because it offers more produce and product variety than Trader Joe’s. I’d go through TJ’s withdrawals if I didn’t have access to it!).

Happy Sunday friends! I hope you all are having the best weekend and are ready for a fabulous week! I started my day with a killer workout and I’ll be spending the rest of the day just relaxing and watching The Office because that’s what Sundays are for right?! Enjoy your day babes! ❤️
When I can’t decide whether i want sweet or savory for breakfast I just do both! We got some eggs going on with half an avocado topped with @manitobaharvest hemp hearts & a @kodiakcakes frozen pancake topped with @eatnuttzo peanut power fuel, strawberries and chia seeds 😋

This week’s meal prep is Crockpot BBQ Pulled Chicken because it’s my favorite!! 🍖 Recipe Below! ⤵️⤵️
- 5 Organic Chicken Breasts 🐓
- 1/2 Jar of Stubs BBQ Sauce (large bottle).
- Garlic Powder.
- 2 tsp of liquid smoke.
1. Slice off extra fat from chicken meat.
2. Sprinkle on each chicken breast: paprika, garlic powder, pepper & salt.
3. Evenly place chicken breasts throughout the crockpot & pour the BBQ Sauce over the chicken & liquid smoke.
4. Set crockpot temperature to low heat and cook for 5-6 hours. During the halfway point, turn chicken over to ensure they are cooking thoroughly. *Mine was finished cooking around 5 hours.
5. Once chicken is cooked, place each chicken breast (without sauce) in a rectangular container and shed meat using 2 forks. Then, scoop some sauce back over the shredded chicken.

Always after that extra #HEALTH 😏🌿⚡️ I often add some turmeric to my brown rice, millet or quinoa while I’m cooking it, to get this brilliant bright yellow colour💛
Turmeric is an ancient Indian spice that’s been used in #Ayurvedic medicine for thousands of years, and for real good reason:
☝🏼It has powerful anti-inflammatory properties + shown to be AS effective as the leading drugs used to treat rheumatoid + osteo arthritis at reducing pain and improving mobility (without the nasty side effects!)
☝🏼It may help protect the BRAIN from cognitive decline + Alzheimer’s
☝🏼It’s has antioxidant properties to protect against cancer, ageing and cell damage
☝🏼It’s also effective for improving IMMUNE function + many inflammatory conditions, including Crohn’s disease
TIP: Don’t forget to add some black pepper to improve bioavailability by 2000%🌟
For general health, about 1/2 tsp per day is a great amount to aim for. And so easy to include in your diet too💁🏼♀️

Food Diary! What I eat when I have time to prep meals at home ⬇️ Included recipe for the Turkey Feta Burgers also - This is from a lower carb rest day!
◾Breakfast 1100 AM - Multi grain rye toast with an egg 🍳 + 1/2 an avocado, 🥑 grape tomatoes and yellow bell peppers
◾Lunch 100 PM - Turkey Feta Burger with turmeric lemon rice, 🍋 micro greens & hot banana peppers + tzatziki sauce when serving
◾Snack 300 PM - Roasted pepper and paprika hummus from @preschoice + veggies 🥕with spicy pickled beans & almonds
◾Dinner 700 PM - Shrimp and sriracha chicken salad 🥗 with zoodles, beets, carrots, cucumber, celery + greens. Had with olive oil, white balsamic & honey dijon dressing
Turkey Feta Burgers - 2 lbs extra lean ground turkey, 1/2 cup feta cheese, 1 large egg, 1/3 cup panko crumbs, 1 tsp pink Himalayan salt, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp black pepper, 1/2 tsp onion powder. Make into 8 patties then grill until they reach 165 F with meat thermometer. Macros per burger 🍔 171 Cals/3.5 Carbs/4.9 Fat/26.8 Protein
