This is my daily reminder to fall in love with the process, day by day. I’m usually the person who craves for the “end result” however, that never really got me far.
Being conscious of loving the process and learning as I go has been far more rewarding than I could ever have imagined. Can anybody relate?🙋🏾♀️
Typical mistakes the administrators make when they do their planning:
1⃣ Failing to consider permanent customers.
Calculate the sales volume your permanent customers bring, their shopping frequency, the average receipt, and the good/service they choose.
2⃣ Failing to set separate plans for the new and the current clients.
Figure out what you could offer your permanent consumers to boost your average receipt amount. Set plans to attract new people.
3⃣Failing to bind the plan to the manager activity statistics.
Calculate how many calls and appointments a month are needed to close the plan.
4⃣Failing to set a retail plan.
Even if you've got a partner network and wholesale, make sure you set a plan for retail. Offer gifts and discounts to the ultimate consumer. Think what you can do for your partners.
5⃣Failing to consider new goods or services.
Figure out the way your sales can change once the good or the service is out on the market.
6⃣ Setting hopes on getting to sell in person.
Develop your online sales. Cut your processing time.
7⃣Failing to discuss the sales plan with your staff.
Sales are related to other departments: delivery, production and marketing. Each department should have a clear idea of the best ways to provide quality service in a timely fashion if the sales go up. Make sure to discuss the plan with both the SVs and the managers.
8⃣Failing to consider the expenses.
Calculate your technology & CRM expenses and those related to matching the marketing plan, making presentations, expanding the sales department, etc.
9⃣Failing to coordinate the sales plan with other plans.
Tie up the sales plan to the development plan, the budget plan, and the payroll system. 🔟Coming up with one single sales plan.
Set three plans with a different bonus amount for the managers. The first and the minimum one is a must. The second one should be 20−30% bigger. The third one is an achievement that involves the biggest compensation to be awarded. ---

Working as an Outsourced CFO can at times be a bit tricky to manage. I can’t exactly tell you where that quote came from, if it was from a marketing book or its my thoughts I had after listening to a presentation, but I definitely think that statement is just as true today as the day I wrote it.
It seems we all have so much going on in our lives or at the workplace. WE NEED PROCESSES! Processes include a set of interrelated tasks that when completed help the organization, team complete a pre-defined goal.
One of the most important things I’ve learned over the years, is that marketing processes are a definite must! By first analyzing what’s currently going on in an organization, followed by creating a strategy on how to meet specific goals, it will be much easier to then bring in the creative attributes needed to execute the plan. If the creative comes before the marketing plan, then more than likely time is wasted and the creative must be re done due it not matching up with the plan and/or goals.
If I can offer you one tip today, figure out a process that will make your daily to-do list, your highest priorities, your workouts, whatever is important to you, flow smoother where you are able to accomplish your pre-defined goals you’ve set for yourself or team. 🤓😘
