So this happened day before. Stepped out of home for shopping and then realised that I had forgotten house keys inside(yes I have very strong memory) 🙆♀️ Home got locked out by then and as we didn't had a spare key, had no other option than to call a locksmith to open the door(not to mention this happened late night)🔓 Unfortunately the locksmith couldn't open the house as the lock was super secure and hence there was no other option than to break in🥶
Homemade brunches are my thing when I want to relax (yes, cooking actually relaxes me). Sunday's brunch was this Cajun catfish and cheese grits with a poached egg. The catfish was air fried and came out nice and crispy! You can swipe to see some perfectly poached egg yolk action. 😜

My sister inspired me to try making a frittata. It was so easy I can’t believe it took me so long to try to make one of these. Eggs, kale, spinach, tomatoes, red onion, cheese and pepper. Simple. Delicious. The family approved this morning. 🍳 🍅 🥬 🔥

Carbonara is one of those pasta dishes where to make it in the traditional way restricts one to a few specific ingredients: egg, guanciale, and pecorino. However for many aspiring chefs, we try to make the dish our own, and impart a bit of our character and who we are into the dish. Here, we see a chef making a beautiful carbonara dish with flavourful cured bacon, a colourful and vibrant egg yolk, a sprinkle of hard cheese, and finally making the dish come together with a balanced tomato base sauce.
