Reseña de éste fabuloso libro. "Fernando... un perro de verdad"
Fernando...

“another secret of the universe: sometimes pain was like a storm that came out of nowhere. the clearest summer could end in a downpour. could end in lightning and thunder.” 🌧
I recently re-read Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe anddd I fell completely in love with it. don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed it when I first read it, but there was something this time around that just really made me love and appreciate it a lot more. 💛
qotd: do you re-read books? I always enjoy re-reading one of my favs or a book that I didn’t like and want to give it a second chance since I may have read it at a not so good time. :)
“But no matter what, we’ll face every hard thing better together than we would apart. Every single one.” - Happiness for Beginners - Katherine Center (I loved this quote! 💜) 🏕
Helen is 32 and has been divorced for a year. She’s ready for a change. So she signs up for a wilderness survival course. She has no idea her little brothers pesky best friend will be on the trip as well. Can she survive the 3 week course? Can she find three things to be happy about each day? How will this course change her? 🏕
I’m pretty sure @katherinecenter will forever be one of those authors that I will always pick up their book, no matter what. She’s quickly become my new favorite author. I really enjoyed this one. I loved seeing Helen evolve and grow. I could picture each person on the course with her and totally can’t imagine wiping with pine cones! This was a fast read for me, I finished it in less than 36 hours. I only wish there was more at the end but I’ll let my imagination carry it away. 🏕 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Question: What are 3 things that make you happy (besides books, family and friends)? For me it’s cats, cheese and the beach. 😁 #bookstagram#bookreview#bookquote#marchreads#bookishcats#orangecatsofinstagram#happinessforbeginners#booklove#favoriteauthor
💕 The Day We Met by Roxie Cooper💕 - what a love story.
Being a sucker for a good romance I am in love with this beautiful book, the story, the feelings and the cover.
This book will make you want to go out and live life to its fullest with no regrets. Have your tissues ready. Dont start this book until you can read it in one sitting, because trust me you wont be putting it down. I read it last week in two sittings. 🌟 Ten years. Two people. One epic love story🌟

Bana göre muhteşem bir kitap. Savaşı bir de bu pencereden izleyin...

I adored @sharmashields first novel, "The Sasquatch Hunter's Almanac" (the 2016 Washington State Book Awards Winner in Fiction), and was super excited when I learned this one was a retelling of the Cassandra myth mixed with the location being the Hanford nuclear site, while it was built and producing plutonium for the atomic bombs at the Trinity site in NM and, Fat Man. Needless to say, I was hooked! Sharma brilliantly describes the role of women in the '40s, as well as in society. The book also shows the racism, mental health treatment, militarism, rape culture, and patriarchy that was prevalent (sadly, not much has changed). These points are woven beautifully into the main story and will take you through the full range of your emotions, as well as keeping you glued to its pages.
On a side note: Sharma Shields is as wonderful as her works. It was such a pleasure meeting and working with her in the past. I excited to see all the other things to come

This was one of those books that it took me a little bit to get into, but then once I was, I couldn’t put it down!

Do you guys like to travel?
I have to be honest with you, that whole «Wanderlust» hippe go lucky thing is not for me. The whole concept makes me feel icky. I’m a huge homebody. The only exception is the UK, partly because I have a british uncle and used to vacation in England a lot as a kid, and I just feel like a part of me belongs there. But other than that, I’ve yet to be bitten by the «Wanderlust» bug. With a full time job, and my Instagram, and the hustle and bustle that is my life, when my vacation time arrives, I want to settle down in peace and quiet in familiar sorroundings and just breathe and relax. I kind of travel through books instead. Anyone else feel like this? Because I get the impression I’m the only one.

Does this even need a review? 🙃 You all told me it starts getting good from the third book on. Naturally everyone was right 😂 — I totally forgot how good Prisoner of Azkaban is. It’s so interesting to be rereading the series several years later and to now notice the evolution of J. K. Rowling’s writing — it improves with every book! I’m currently 200 pages into Goblet of Fire, which was always one of my favorites. I’m curious to see if that’ll still hold true once I finish it, but so far Prisoner of Azbakan is my top favorite!
Which book or series do you wish you could experience again for the first time?

Hello! What are you currently reading? I'm still reading the million other books I've been reading for what seems to be a really long time. .
QOTD: Do you prefer series or standalones?
AOTD: Definitely series. And definitely really long series with a ton of books. I guess I just love getting invested in a world with the same characters. But there are also times when I do like to curl up with a good standalone. .
I thought I'd share these two books today which, by the way, look absolutely gorgeous together (I just realised that you can't even see the second book but oh well 😂). They're both realistic fiction standalones and I enjoyed them both thoroughly. Although I think I enjoyed Don't Stop Thinking About Tomorrow a little more than the Moonlight Dreamers. .

On a wimp I decided to start the day with a 7am trip to the gym. I've been doing everything I can to get rid of these anxiety attacks — I was told that exercising was a great outline to reduce the symptoms of anxiety and depression and actually using the gym membership I pay for bi-weekly is also a welcomed change. I walked, jogged, and ran on the treadmill for an hour, followed by 28 minutes of cycling, and then 40 minutes of yoga. The only thing that got me though it was watching old episodes of Law & Order SVU on the gym televisions. I got so wrapped up in the nostalgia of seeing Stabler and Benson that I forgot about the heavy weight on my chest and my aching muscles. And in yoga, the soft voice of the teacher was so soothing I left feeling like a feather. I am so thankful for all the advice I got both on here and in real life on how to deal with my anxiety. How are you doing? How's your week thus far?
It's starting to feel like Spring here which means I can finally enjoy hours of reading in the park. One thing I find frustrating about reading outside is constantly losing my spot due to gusts of wind. I also get cramps in my thumbs from holding books open for long periods of time but thanks to @pageanchor those problems feel like they're behind me. I can honestly say using this cute little anchor has tremendously improved my reading experience. What are something that ruin your reading experience?
A soft, quiet evening tonight ✨ Featuring Chinese food, a Netflix documentary with my boyfriend, and an hour of reading ☁️ Pictured is a stack of books I’m either currently reading or hoping to read soon. I’m so obsessed with each of them 🙈 what books are you reading/looking forward to starting? 🍂

“He thinks he'll be remembered as the villain in the story. But I forgot to tell him that the villain is usually the person who locks up the maiden and throws away the key. He was the one who let me out.”✨
That quote makes me want to reread the Acotar series so bad🙈 I must resist until the release of the next book comes near, so basically it won’t happen this year *rip ann* Anyone else slowly dying with the anticipation?😂
Happy Tuesday lovelies! Hope you’re having a wonderful day🙌🏻💕
Feliz martes people! Espero que anden teniendo un hermoso día🙌🏻💜
