On this 20th November, the world will celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. .
I believe childrens need proper education with proper counseling for the betterment of this world. And I support the initiative what UNICEF has taken. I made this video without any interest because I do care about childrens. I want people to get involved and show their concern about children.
Children have their rights denied every single day. We want to build a world where every child is in school and learning, safe from harm and able to fulfill their potential, and we know you do too. It's time to put children back on the agenda.
You can also contribute or share your thoughts about children by Signing this petition (age must be above 13) - #petition
. Use this #GoBlue hashtag on your profile to call on world leaders to commit to fulfilling the rights of every child and acknowledge that these rights are non-negotiable.

So the Bangladeshi government are planning to end the Accord's work so they can implement their own programme to keep garment factories safe. While I have issues with the Accord, including its perpetuation of unequal power relations between Northern brands and Bengalis, there is no doubt that it has saved thousands of lives. It needs to exist. I am all for a nationally-led programme exempt from Northern influence (trust me), but the Bangladeshi gov has a track record of failing to protect it's workers and as long as it's economy remains at the mercy of imperialists in the North, I remain sceptical of the government's ability and willingness to provide effective protection for it's workers. If you have no idea what I'm on about don't worry, check out our glossary page for a summary on what the Accord is and in the opinions section there is an essay I wrote regarding how effective the Accord is. I've linked the Accord definition in our bio x
