Decided to take the plunge and try the Petal Diffuser as I've heard so many rave about it - 🤞it's quiet!
Also added another on Guard toothpaste for when my current one runs out as I cannot go back to normal yuck-paste! Also trying the on Guard throat drops 😁
New oils for me: Balance, Eucalytpus, Siberian Fir, Tea Tree and Tea Tree Touch (seriously, can never get enough Tea Tree in our lives and this one was this months freebie 😉)

- 1/2 (~70g) 🥑
- 70g banana 🍌
~ 3g cacao
- 25g protein powder (chocolate flavour). You can substitute it by adding more cacao (maybe 10g - 15g more) - dash of vanilla aroma (not necessary) - 30g frozen raspberries for topping

▪️Post 1 of 2 ~ How do we increase flexibility with pilates? 🤔 ▪️I am so often asked whether pilates helps increase flexibility, & if so, then how?... ▪️For me, the answer is always by creating a long, strong powerhouse FIRST.. ✔️ ▪️The beauty of pilates is that once we have created a strong centre from which to work, it is this exact centre which we can work against to open our joints & lengthen our limbs IN BALANCE.. ✔️ ▪️If we are not mindfully connected with our powerhouse, we can trick ourselves into thinking we have a huge ‘range’ around a joint, yet in doing so, we have lost the stability from which to stretch away.. 🙈
▪️This yummy exercise using the #foamroller was inspired by the lovely Claudia @pilates_sarpi 💫 & works to mobilise shoulder girdle, & open chest.. ✔️ ▪️However it is fully dependant upon a connected powerhouse, which includes ribcage connection ✔️ ▪️This gives us stability of the trunk from which to extend arms, & then use this stability to further open chest.. ▪️I work with many clients in exactly this way, very simply on the floor, to help them find release through the mid- back, which re-connects them with their back line, so vital in Thoracic breathing & upper body work ✔️ ▪️This is also a great way to separate the arm & shoulder from working as one unit, & instead initiate all arm work from a supported shoulder girdle, without ‘leading’ with the arm ✔️ ▪️Remember to keep Long through back line into BOTH feet 👣✔️
