Losing track of days. I believe day 8 of @toneitup#tiuloveyourbody series. My foot injury is definitely affecting my cardio and steps. I went to back to work yesterday for the first time in 10 months and sat at a desk for 9hrs. So my foot felt rested enough to go play soccer for the second day in a row. I needed the cardio. You can see I got all my steps at 8:30 at night lol! Stayed strong at work and didn’t eat the bad food, they did a 7/11 run and I asked for trail mix. After my games, I had fish and veggies. Welp. Just like that, after vacation in Curaçao things are right back to normal! ⠀
We got back late last night only to find out our one shared bag (which I highly recommend doing to save dollars!) was put on a later flight. OF COURSE! ⠀
So we hopped on the metro—sans bag— in 16 degree temperatures with only sweatshirts and suntans and somehow made it home before midnight to a house full of howling kitties starving for all of our attention. I can never just go to sleep immediately once I get home—so she went to sleep and I stayed up to wine down 🍷 and watch all of my missed TGIT shows (and ugly crying to most of the episodes because I’m unashamedly a very emotional woman 73% of the time). .⠀
Feels good to be back! Now...time to get crackin on these emails that piled their way on up 📩 How’s everyone else’s week starting out? 😅
She loves her Kong. I’m trying the frozen wet food recipe today, hopefully it’ll keep her busy for a while. I give her a toy with treats before I leave for work everyday, but she usually gets through them very quickly!
