Every day I strive to spread awareness and get acceptance for my little boy.
And every day now I get messages with ways to "cure" him. Protocols to try, to "reverse his autism". Ways and means to "make him healthy"🙄 Lets get one thing straight.
My little boy is the most amazing little guy in the world.
He has a smile that can light up a room.
A personality that shines through without words.
And eyes that could eat into your soul.
Riley is Autistic.
He is not sick.
He DOES NOT need a cure.
Yes life may be a little harder for him.
Yes some days I hate autism.
And yes every day i wish life was easier for him.
But without Autism, my little boy would not be the little boy I know and adore.
I would NOT change him for the world.
But I WILL change the world for him.

Thanks to you lovely people I found out yesterday that I’d made it through to the final of the #bapsawards in not one but two categories 😁🎉 It’s a great event and one I love being a part of. I get the chance to meet up with lots of other bloggers I speak to on here, and have a night out to celebrate!
So now I need your help and your votes if I’m going to have a chance of winning 😁
Please click on the link in my bio and vote for me. I’m in the ‘Best Use of Media’ and the ‘Truth About SEND’ categories. Whilst you’re there check out the other categories too, I’m sure you’ll find some bloggers you’ll know. (And you can vote more than once 😉) Thank you so much for all of the support you’ve shown me, my boys, and this page over the years ❤️
