Sunday Morning Smiles Friends!
Its another beautiful but chilly day here. Spent yesterday hanging out with the family and had a dinner out which is a rare thing lately. Most of our meals are prepared and eaten at home. At the table. As a family. This is important to my wife and I. From the time our first child was born. We were determined to eat together at least once a day.
This may be seem like a small thing. But it was something we wanted to do. And so far, we've succeeded. The breaking of bread and sharing a meal together is a long standing tradition. From ancient tribes to modern day life. It brings a closeness and bond that has fallen by the wayside with families and friends. We're all so busy now. Taking the time to make food and eat it together is a foundation building activity. Try to do it at least once a week. Preferably more. Turn off technology. No TV or phones. Just rely on conversations with your loved ones. If you have no family close. Do it with friends.
