Steps to improving your health can be as simple as eating fruit...
It's not just about what we are doing but it’s also about what we are not doing that destroys our health.
We are eating tons of processed foods and we are not eating fruits and vegetables.
We are sitting a lot and we are not moving.
We are trying to satisfy all our wants and we are not dealing with our deep needs as human beings.
We are living very isolated lives and we are not being present in our communities.
We are really busy gathering information and we are not cultivating truth and love.
We give lots of advice and share our opinions at the drop of keystroke and we are not listening, helping or responding with compassion.
To be healthy is to be whole and to nourish our whole person with the foods we eat, the air we breathe, the music we listen to and the love we give. Return to the basics and remember who you are and how you are naturally designed to be healthy, whole and human. Vivealchemy.com

Volume lashes &
Zero edits to the lash line 🙅🏽♀️ just some 11mm and lower lashes.
You can swipe to see unedited pic for yourself. Sometimes I like to brighten the face/under eye to make lashes pop, but the lashes don’t change👍🏼 Hope everyone is enjoying their holiday season 🎅🏽🎄 💋
Catching up with old friends is one of my favorite things about being a hair stylist. Check out this before and after of @makaylagilder I loved having her in my chair and making her hair goals come to life! ✨

What’s up #Knoxville? Who was lucky enough to #optoutside today to experience the warmer temps? It felt incredible to have the sun warm our bodies as we worked our pop-up shop. Now let’s turn our attention to tonight’s feature by 📷: @ammonster301 better known as Dewey Slusher. Dewey is one of the kindest souls you’ll ever meet and always makes everyone feel like they’re the most important person in the room. Drop a comment below how you met Dewey and a memorable moment. My AT section hike this year was a challenge unlike any other. Mostly because of the elements. Partly because of the weight I was carrying in my heart. It was beautiful and healing.
Incredibly thankful for my new Aura AG 50 @ospreypacks which made carrying 30ish lbs feel effortless. BIG ups to the incredible staff at @natsoutdoorsports for spending well over an hour getting me fit for just the right pack. Sold on the pack and sold on the service. I recommend!
Through a miraculous chain of events, Chonci is healthy and whole after having fallen 50 feet from a tree.
In late March 2016, Chonci was cutting down a tree and fell a little over 50 feet. The fall caused facial fractures, a shattered right humerus, bruised and collapsed lungs and even more serious injuries. His condition was high risk and in need of close monitoring.
But ask him today how he was healed and he'll smile from ear to ear and tell you it was from the faithful prayers of his church family and loved ones and through his faithful confession - "I am whole!" Chonci was wheeled into the hospital Tuesday morning and walked out healthy Thursday afternoon.
"Life isn't just about me falling, getting better and moving on, but staying better by faithfully serving others, restoring hope and valuing life by understanding that falling down and pain may occur but through Christ we are all overcomers!"
Cold Morning but a Hot Fire. Some of the 400 pounds of Pork Shoulders for our Homeless Folks downtown tonight. My driveway smells pretty good right now. #giveadamn#bbqlife#865life

Wellness So White 🙃
Wellness has changed my life - I feel stronger mentally + physically but what i’ve noticed is that wellness is so damn white.
It seems as if wellness caters only to white women - google yoga, wellness or fitness 🧘 and the photos you’ll see are of you guessed it, white women (or fit bros) so instead of letting this feeling of exclusion keep me from being great, I’m talking about it and calling it out. ✊🏾
If you are in the fitness/wellness industry or if you are someone looking to learn more about fitness/wellness keep these 3 points in mind. 👇🏾
1🌱Wellness looks different for everyone.
Let's take nutrition for example, I’m sure you’ve heard or read articles arguing that you should stop eating rice, that it’s “unhealthy” etc. but for many asian and african homes - rice is a staple 🍚.
As a Fitness Coach, you have a responsibility to understand that culture plays a huge role in fitness + nutrition and you should take that into account.
2🌱 There are consequences of “White Wellness”.
The lack of POC being reflected in the wellness community perpetuates a one dimensional standard of wellness.
In other words, it excludes❌ people who aren’t white and suggests that wellness is simply inaccessible. This also creates a way of thinking where POC don’t believe that wellness is for them. That it’s only for skinny white chicks or fit bros. Regardless of your race, gender, sexuality, ability, etc. ✅ you are worthy of being well, feeling whole, whatever that looks like to you.
So how do we break past #WellnessSoWhite?
3🌱 Start by diversifying your circle + your clientele.
If all you see is women that look like you, if you only work with women who look like you, you are part of the problem, whether it’s intentional or not.
So, I challenge you to follow 4 women who are different than you, who serve a different audience.
