I can’t document the good without documenting the bad... was on my way to work, left super early so I didn’t need to rush since traffic was horrendous, this guy thought plowing through me was going to get him somewhere faster. Back of my car is totaled. Thankfully I didn’t hit anyone in front of me so no airbags deployed, had seatbelt on but still jolted forward. Definitely scared...New Cannan police & EMT were both amazing, State troopers were amazing, family & friends were amazing. People pulled over offering to comfort me until help arrived. I was definitely shook up. I am doing ok, a few aches and pains. Hitched a ride in the ambulance to the hospital to make sure baby is ok... so far so good baby still moving like a champ but still got a while of monitoring to go. #36weekspregnant#maddoxroyal#slowthefuckdown#payattention#stamford#stamfordhospital#monitoring#itsaboy💙 #caraccident#rearended#seatbelt
Craziest thing I ever seen car wise. I witnessed a Mac truck come through an intersection and take out 5 cars, 2 of them badly. I rushed over there got a fire extinguisher and me and another guy put the fire out and I ran around making sure everyone was ok as others called the police and a nurse who was passing by checked on others. We all saved lives today. You never know what can happen in life but when people come together it’s a beautiful thing. I stayed until I knew everyone was safe and taken into an ambulance I left before the new got there because god knows what I did even if the rest of the world won’t through news. Everyone be safe and drive safe.
Someone hit my car....
Tonight I pulled up at Coles to do a shop. Walked around to my boot to get out my bags & spoted a gash in the back of my car near my number plate.
This has happened within the last 2 weeks as I washed my car 2 weeks ago & would have noticed.
They did not leave the note.
I reckon it most likely happened in my work parking lot (very tight space) & there are no cameras.
The thing I am most angry about is that they did not leave a note! That's so wrong! 😡 & although I'm annoyed about the damage (as it is very noticeable) if I get it repaired I'll have to get the whole panel replaced & painted & doing that now will mean I won't reach my goals this year so looks like I'll be living with it for atleast a couple months.

In 2011, my truck was in an accident and the airbag deployed....never to be replaced. So I made the best out of a bad situation. I call it hands-free 📞
"My whole life was in that car and somehow, we managed to walk away with only the mental battles to fight. But to this day, we still do." 💔

I rear-ended someone tonight on my way home. The $1,000 deductible sucks but I have the means to pay for it. This is my 2nd in two years so I know my deductible is going up next year 🤦🏻♀️. Not what I needed right now, or ever.
Most safe driving skills teach you to remain in control of your vehicle at all times, but that's not always possible.
Some great articles recommend that you try doing the following:
1. Avoid panic and stay calm (keep your hands on the wheel). 2. Keep your eyes open. (When people panic, another reaction is to close their eyes). 3. Shift your vehicle into neutral (helps eliminate the power to the wheels). 4. Steer into the skid (when hydroplaning on water, skidding on ice or gravel). 5. Make sure you drive out of the danger before stopping the vehicle and getting out.
Be safe on the road !

Mohammed: “I started exercising about seven years ago to get in shape and to get healthier. I wanted to look better, more muscular and less fat. I’ve done CrossFit for a year and a half but then I got into a car accident and got injured so I couldn’t work out for about two years. I gained a bit of weight in those two years. So I started training here just about two months ago. I try to work out several times a week. Physically I feel like my muscles are coming back, I’m losing weight and my confidence is coming back. I wasn’t dating before and now I’m dating again. I feel better about myself and I like the feeling when I’m done working out.”

Finding oneself is a roller coaster of mental and emotional of ups and downs. And looking back where I was 4 years ago and now I can say I have come a long way, but still have a long ways to go. Never give up on thinking on the brighter side of things because more happiness will come out of life💕
What was supposed to be a quick trip into New York City this weekend turned into flashing lights, ambulances, and a car accident that I never saw coming...literally. 💔
For the first time in a long time, I was at the mercy of complete strangers...as I was left at night, without a car, literally in the middle of the highway, on a bridge through the worst part of the city...and watching my beloved Mustang - my home as I've traveled full time for the last 6 months - be towed away to a salvage yard through the darkness. 💔
I very rarely feel helpless (INTJ here 🙋🏼) but you better believe I felt it that night. I was INCREDIBLY blessed to walk away from an accident so severe that it totaled my vehicle and sent 2 other people to the hospital (swipe), but it felt like my world was closing in. And what the next 48 hours showed me is that...though I'm by nature a VERY independent, headstrong person...WE CAN'T DO LIFE ALONE. ❤️
And stranded in the Bronx, by myself, unable to get a rental car, and at the mercy of complete strangers...I saw what it means to hit the bottom. When you come to the end of everything that YOU can do, and you have to let others in.
Friends who rally to pray for you. Tow drivers who will pull strings for you. The friend who reached out from a thousand miles away...and arranged for a kind stranger to drive 6 HOURS the next day to take me from New York City to Pennsylvania where I could meet up with extended family. (there's NO WAY I could thank these people enough) 😭
I'm an introvert by nature, but if there's anything this last few days have taught me...it's that WE NEED OTHER PEOPLE. We aren't created to do life on our own. And that it's OKAY to accept help...it's OKAY to reach out...and it doesn't mean you're a failure if you suddenly can't do everything on your own.
So whether it's a car accident or a heavy box or an emotional loss or depression that seems too much for you to carry...let others in. The pain may be great at first, and it might even scare you...but the support will be what truly holds you in the end.
I love you guys, and have a lot to be thankful for this week. ❤️
I don’t think I could smile any bigger, both of my babies are safe.
God is SO GOOD and I’m counting all of my blessing 💙💜 Today, a driver ran a red light and caused me and my sweet babies to get in an accident. I saw it all happening in slow motion and to say it was terrifying would be an understatement.
I am beyond thankful that our car kept all of us safe. I couldn’t jump out of it fast enough to get Landon in my arms... I will never forget just how tight he held me for 20 minutes following the accident. Our sweet boy was so shaken up - but SAFE 🙌🏼 praise God for his car seat.
I didn’t feel Aria move until I made it to the hospital and they put the monitors on her - you bet your butt I ugly cried the happiest tears ever.
I’ll be at the hospital snuggling my babies for a few more hours for standard monitoring procedures, but for now, my heart is so grateful. We are all safe 💜💙 Jason is here with us and our amazing friend @xamandanicolex dropped everything at the drop of a dime and helped us out this morning. I’m SO grateful for her 🙌🏼 I can’t say it enough, God is SO GREAT 🙌🏼🙌🏼 #hugyourbabiestight#thankyouLord
