Hard to post this but it isnt me anymore and never will be again.
Long way to go yet but pleased with my progress! -16lbs in 21 days.
After having Oliver, I was my last priority. As is this case with any mummies out there. I would eat all day long on maternity and snack at night to keep myself awake through baby feeds. Then it all became habit. Mentally, I started to struggle, feeling lost whenever Oliver wasn't around as I felt useless and had no idea who I was without him. I stopped seeing friends and bottled everything up. I started to blame myself for everything and tell myself I wasn't worth bothering about. But I've finally found the strength to take control and be who I want to be. I love who i am as a mummy. But as I became mummy, Charlotte began to slip away. I want my confidence back, I want to enjoy being young, get my social life back and wear the clothes I wish I was confident enough to wear.
These are the first steps in a long journey but I'm ready to get what I want. .
Every goal met, every second shed, every pound lost, extra reps, added weight, better times... is a victory. Each time you wake up motivated... or don’t, but you pick back up a day later, is a victory. Every single thing you do, be proud of. Progress is slow, but you’re doing it and you’re making the effort to better you, for YOU.
First picture was taken a year ago after finishing my FIRST 5k (3.1 miles). Next month I’ll be competing in two half marathons. 🤭
I mean, my healthy eating could probably be going better....
I’ve slipped right back into old habits of going out, having too much fun and then eating the world the next day. Those ciders and curry’s get me every time... 😍.
Soooooo after being inspired by @lisa.j.barnett I joined @slimmingworld this evening. I’m someone that needs to be told what to do and so hoping this will help! Here’s to 2 stone by Christmas... 🍻 (although I should totally be drinking water and not beer).
Meet Kelesa she been in the game for a few woks now and is ABSOLUTELY KILLING IT! She decided to go HAM on herself and create the person she wants to be! So proud of you!!!! Keep it up!! Can’t wait to see for this current 21 day challenge to end AMAZING RESULTS! She is so strong she got rid of 5% body fat in 7 days!!! I can’t wait to show you guys her results are amazing!! Seeing & hearing how this single mama, of the most adorable little boy changed her life with this one program is truly amazing!! Yes I’ve tried all too. Been there done that and I know you got lots going on...again, me too! I am a first year elementary school librarian 📚 who runs two businesses, parents two yorkie doggies 🐶 but I still make time for my health because at the end of the day you can’t pour from an empty cup. So it’s one small step at a time because a little by little a little becomes a lot!
So head on over and shows some love because I know I can’t be the only one feeling the September back to school rush of life.

What’s the ONE thing ⤵️ you need to make the change TODAY to lead a healthier life?
Whenever I put together my food at work, I get a lot of “oh wow! You really take your time” or “that’s a lot of work” when in reality, it’s not time consuming at all. Everything is precooked, cut and measured aka it’s all meal prepped. I simply plate it to make it look pretty so I’ll eat it 🤣 jk. Are you kidding me? I freaking love all the food I make! It’s simple, easy and gets me to my goals! That’s a win-win in my book 🙌🏽 Once I plate everything and take a photo, some people give me the side eye like this girl did not just take pictures of her food. Then they tell me, “Wow! That looks good!” Why yes, yes I did take a picture and yes it is bomb! 😊
It’s all about plating and lighting - gotta do it for the ‘gram 😏
