We are busy all day, like a group of flies without souls, noisy, swaying, unable to hear the sound of the soul. As time goes by, childhood is far away, we gradually grow up, the years have taken away many memories, and it has also eroded the childish innocence that the heart has had today. We ignore the soul, indulge in the glory of the world, and focus on the interests. The law, we lost ourselves. --Anthony de Saint-Exupery "Little Prince"🌍🌹 #小王子經典語錄 👑 #卡片#星夜 💫 #冒險 👣🚲 #地圖 #安东尼 ·德·圣 - 埃克苏佩里 #小王子 #Anthony de Saint-Exupery #"Little Prince"

The map @vangoghmuseum shows where Van Gogh stayed before. In the Netherlands, his paintings were dark and deep. He wanted to be an art dealer first, and then the pastor, he discovered that he didn't like that, and he was interested in literary and painting, he went to be a painter. As a pastor, he had a strong interest in the peasants and the miners (Van Gogh had a good heart and saw them had a hard time), so the famous painting "potato eaters" exists, and he often copied the paintings of Jean-François Millet because Millet liked to paint the peasants and felt that they were sacred.
After that, he went to France and met the Impressionist painter. He also watched the Japanese ukiyo-e painting. The color became bright and sharp, the well known "sunflower", and "starry night" were his later works.
He had been working hard for more than 10 years, for painter, he is awesome and he had no teacher. Since day and night to paint and create his own style. However, he committed suicide. May be the family mental illness made van gogh too much annoyed.😢
This is Tainan City in about 1945. It was drawn from hundreds of old photos and walks around what remains. Limited edition archival quality prints available (30 big, 30 half size)! It's a twin to the drawing of central Taipei I made a couple of years ago. The area of old Taipei I drew was very planned and modern while the center of Tainan is full of atmospheric winding lanes. A lot of the architecture from the Qing and Japanese eras was beautiful and enjoyable to draw. My favorite is the high court building, which I'm happy still exists, and the Miyako Theater, which sadly doesn't. Prints are available from the shops in the bio, or just message me. The original pencil drawing will be available soon too.
(Eng below) 以前在赤崁樓附近有很多的房子，在四零年代為了保護赤崁樓本身防止炸彈攻擊失火而被拆除。There used to be a lot of houses around the Chikan Towers. In the 1940's they were demolished to protect the towers from possible fires caused by bombs.
