Today is my last wedding for a little while, and then I have a break til New Year’s Eve. I’m second shooting today, which I love doing! Even though I’ve been doing this for years and have experience, I still like to work weddings with other photographers when I’m not booked. It’s nice to be a part of a wedding day and get to enjoy it without all the pressure of being the lead! And the majority of the time, as the lead you spend your time with the bride, so having a second is crucial to being able to get good getting ready photos of the groom and his guys. It’s his day too, so don’t leave him out! That’s the main reason why I always include a second shooter in my wedding packages. It’s so important to be able to have two different perspectives, and for one to be places the other can’t be. I got to take this shot of the groom getting ready when I second shot at @glendaloughmanorevents for the wonderful @blackbirdkate who has taught me so much! I love getting to work with other photographers and keep learning and growing. #weddingphotographer#groom#secondshooter#wedding#glendaloughmanor#georgiaweddingphotographer
Gotta sneak those kisses on your wedding day!
Enjoying the first snow here in Connecticut this week admittedly has me thinking about warmer weather and backyard elopements. Maybe it’s a case of the grass is always greener on the other side, though I would like to point out the grass is *actually* greener in summer months 😄😂🤷🏼♀️
Who am I kidding? I love the snow. And most of all I’m a lover of the changing seasons. What’s your favorite season?
